I see a snowmachine as shiny as the sun

There's kids playing like monkeys

I see lush fish as wiggly as earthworms

I hear an ice-auger as loud as a chainsaw

I hear engines as loud as a car honking their horn

I hear water in a fish hole like someone is swimming

I know how to use hooks like guns

I always know how to be patient like a clock

I now how to manaq just like a woman

I feel as happy as a dog

I sometimes fell scared like a cat

I feel amazed like someone did their first parkour

I know that we have to wait like a clock

I know that you can hook a fish at any age

I feel fantastic like a fish

Amazed like butterflies

Trees on as the elders

People catching fish as lucky as leprechauns

I hear people talking as an old truck

People saying wow as happy as a hippo

A snow machine going as fast as a roadrunner

I know to be patient like waiting for slow internet

Be careful as a kid playing dodge ball

I put bait on my fish hook so fish will be like dogs at dinner tine

I feel excited as a dog being fed

I feel blessed by an angel

Amazed as a kid at he circus for the first time

Kids having fun like they never played out before

My classmates writing like they are writing books

I hear snow machines as loud as thunder

The beautiful wind as graceful as a ballet dancer

Laughter as joyful as a hyena

I know fishing is part of our culture

Put bait on teh hook, so I can catch fish big as a giiant

Then got to be patient like a lion

I feel thrilled like the elementary won the championship

So excited like I caught 7 pikes

And hungry as a bear

And I know to put bait on my hook to attract fish like trying to attract mouse with cheese

I feel as thrilled as a bumblebee finding flowers

I feel as hungry as a bear trying to catch salmon

And I feel as bored as a slug crossing on grass

I hear people talking as much as a duck quacking

Wind as loud as the vents at the school

Birds chirping same time the clock does

Put the hook in the hold for a big fish as big as me

I feel free as a baby in a pamper

I feel upset as a crying baby

A bunch of pikes and a couple lush fish were hooked on this year's trip. It was a great year for ice-fishing.
